To the editor:
Like it or not, the political season is now with us. It’s a long time from early March to the mid-terms in November.
We already have many candidates seeking to get your vote for governor, the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. One of the biggest reason to get elected to go to Washington is to fight the opposing party. No candidate, Republican or Democrat, wanting to go to Washington to fight will not get my vote, nor should they get yours. Enough of the fighting already! I want candidates that will go to Washington to work. Work with the folks on the other side of the aisle for the good of all-American people, not for the good of a political party.
Like I have said before, we have a lot of Republicans and Democrats in Washington but no Americans. Until candidates for any public office learn to work together for the good of all Americans, our American dream is doomed.
So, if you just want to fight, join the military, but if you want to work together to find common ground that will benefit to make the country the best in the world to work, live and play in, you will get my vote.
Thank you all for offering yourselves as a candidate for public office. May God be with you all.
