Local author at Whitefield library

Dailey is the owner of Fine Points Editorial Services in Jefferson. She earned a BA in English from The College of New Jersey and later worked at Prentice-Hall, where she was trained and mentored by two experienced textbook editors. In 1974, after a few years freelancing in Connecticut, she and her husband, Jim, an artist and book designer, moved to Maine.
Dailey’s work has included fiction and nonfiction, textbooks, memoirs, poetry, and children’s books. She sees every new project as a challenge to enjoy and to learn from, and she never imagined she would still be doing this work she loves well into “retirement.”
Her book, Mind your P’s and Q’s: (and your A, B, C’s) Tips for Writers from an Editor’s Point of View, will be available for purchase at the event.
The Whitefield Library is located at 1 Arlington Lane, in Whitefield, and can be found online at www.whitefieldlibrary.org or by following us on Facebook and Instagram. This event is free, but donations are welcome and help support future programming. For more information, email us at: info@whitefieldlibrary.org.
